The Xirantian Village resettlement housing project in Sijiqing Town, Haidian District, Beijing, comprises a total construction area of approximately 200,000 square meters and 16 residential buildings; it is set to accommodate over a thousand returning resident households.

The more critical the project, the less room there is for compromise on workmanship. For this project, the task of interior wall plastering—which involved the largest volume of work and the tightest schedule—was ultimately entrusted to the Derutu D70 gypsum spraying machine.

With a total area of 200,000 square meters—including 100,000 square meters of interior gypsum plastering—there was absolutely no leeway in the schedule for this phase. The biggest headaches during the plastering stage were the difficulty of recruiting labor and slow progress, compounded by inconsistent on-site power distribution, the hassle of moving materials between floors, and the labor- and time-intensive nature of mixing gypsum powder.

To handle the pressure of a project of this scale, three key prerequisites are essential:

*Dual-voltage compatibility: Operates on both 380V and 220V power supplies without the need for voltage conversion.

*Modular design: Features a fully modular structure for easy disassembly and reassembly; highly portable for moving between buildings or across floors—simply disassemble to transport and reassemble on-site.

*No-mix dry powder & ready-to-use wet mix: Automatically adds water to dry powder materials (eliminating manual mixing) and allows wet mixes to be sprayed immediately upon delivery, significantly streamlining the construction process.

*Long-range operation: Conveying distance reaches up to 45m (depending on the material used), enabling easy remote operation in areas such as stairwells.

*Versatile material compatibility: Suitable for the application of various dry-mix mortars, including lightweight and heavyweight gypsum plasters, aerogel, Anshi powder, high-ductility concrete, and inorganic fibers.

For the general contractor, the plastering phase offers more controllable scheduling; for the work crews, the same task is less physically demanding and can be completed faster.

Plastering is the final major step before a home is handed over. Machines take on the heavy lifting, allowing workers to focus their energy on ensuring quality.
